Barb Guiden, Broker & Past President KAREA(2018)
Barb Guiden started her real estate career at the end of 1989, just as the recession hit. She learned very quickly that to make it in the real estate world, you had to work long hours and work hard listening to people’s needs. Barb has served on the Kingston Area Real Estate Board as a director since 2014, President in 2018, Past President 2019. Barb is keen on technology, finding and understanding tools, and the latest programs and applications to help fellow realtors and in turn buyers and sellers to make informed decisions.
In 2010, Barb took up running and since has run two marathons, seven 1/2 marathons, two 30k races, and numerous other races. Barb knows it takes planning and dedication to get to the finish line. She brings the same strategies to her business and to the Kingston and Area Real Estate Board. (KAREA)
When not running or working, Barb enjoys playing in her music room, recording and creating music. But most of all, she loves spending time with her wonderful family.
Paulanne Peters, Sales Representative
Realtor, silversmith, and lover of all things nature including spiders and snakes. Paulanne returned to real estate in 2016 after a 17-year break. 11 of those were while she owned a used auto dealership – The Car Store, and auto detailing business – The Car Spa. The other 6 were spent in Greece teaching English and volunteering with Nine Lives Greece – a cat street rescue charity organization.
Since returning to Kingston, Paulanne has become an active volunteer with Sandy Pines Wildlife Centre. She also teaches silver smith courses at The Tett Centre / Kingston Lapidary and Mineral Club.
Paulanne and Barb both worked at Re/Max in the early 90s where they became friends and now business partners as Team Kingston Realty. Their mission is to ensure a successful and stress-free transition for their sellers, and ensure their buyers locate the perfect home for their next phase of life.
